The Opportunity This position works for Electrophysiology. In Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. Overview The ideal candidate will be a key Business Partner to local commercial team providing high level decision support and reporting, forecasting, and analysis for the EP ANZ business. Key Responsibilities Own the monthly financial reporting to APAC and manage the analysis and communication of financial results with clear reporting insights that add value to the business. Execute forecasting process to support monthly and quarterly earnings requirements. Support the Finance Controller in preparation of presentations for and participate in quarterly business reviews/LBEs. Perform revenue recognition analysis and adjust to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Own the sales and rebates reporting and analysis from top level reports down to account-by-account analysis monthly, regular trend analysis in relation to usage of products. Monitor performance of the Division specific customer rebate programs and report to management accordingly. Develop and analyze KPIs to lead monthly and quarterly reviews and advise commercial and marketing in decision-making. Develop and assist the commercial business to prepare annual territory plans. Partner with local management team in implementing sales strategies that have an incremental impact on market share gains and operating income. Assist Marketing with analyzing market intelligence information, including share results against share objectives. Be a lead or "go to" person for ANZ Business case initiatives and strategic planning - including financial modelling and market research. Analyze, prepare and submit business cases to support Division strategies. Analyze and prepare price change submissions including Gross Margin impacts. Analyze and prepare and submit new tenders and customer agreements – including monitoring contract/tender compliance from a pricing perspective. Manage quarterly preparation of incentive calculations and monthly accruals. Develop smart processes and systems to provide visibility and insights into the business to drive focus on opportunities. Other ad-hoc reports and/or analysis and reporting as requested, and other related functions and responsibilities as directed by manager. You may be required to work outside of your ordinary hours of work to participate in essential training, team meetings, customer events, or trade shows/conferences. These events may take place on an evening and/or weekend. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CA or CPA qualified. Experience PBI proficiency. SAP and Data Warehouse.
