Commercial Finance Manager | Global FMCG business | $180K + bonus Our client is a globally listed FMCG organisation with a long and rich history of manufacturing and distributing a range of well-known brands and has a track record of leading their industry segment. A 2023 certified 'Employer of Choice', they have an inclusive, vibrant and high-performing culture and are now looking to add to their finance team with the appointment of a Commercial Finance Manager.
This role will allow the right individual to support the commercial finance function with financial and commercial analysis, business partnering, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling as well as supporting matters relating to projects and strategy.
The Challenge Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process across the business
Identifying performance trends and risk areas while maintaining suitable financial models
Performance against forecast analysis, measuring, reviewing and optimising customer investment and trade spend
Ownership of the P&L
Business partner with key executives across the business specifically in sales
Proactively review pricing and network performance to identify opportunities for review generation and profit maximisation
Support with the preparation of information to be shared with the Executive Committee and Board
Supporting with the effective integration of project impacts into the planning and reporting processes
The Expertise Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
Preferably, you are a CA and started your career with a leading chartered accounting firm and have since worked in industry for 3+ years, most likely in an FMCG business
Possibly, you are a CPA with FP&A/Commercial Finance Analysis experience in a mid to large sized FMCG company
Strong reporting and excellent excel skills
Importantly, you will be a strong communicator and experienced with business partnering and stakeholder engagement
