Role Purpose: In this role, you will utilise financial analysis techniques to deliver day to day support and provide insight, analysis and trends on critical business issues impacting the performance of the Media Service Line in consideration by senior stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity to be part of delivering the strategic direction of the organisation and work closely with the Business Partner in delivering on strategy, revenue and profit targets.
Responsibilities include: Management & financial reporting - Produce, review, analyse and provide insights for key stakeholders at month-end. Planning & forecasting - Assisting in the delivery of accurate and timely forecasts and budgets. Stakeholder engagement - Analytical support to internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the strategic plan. Commercial & strategic analysis - Provide operational decision-making support to key stakeholders within the business. Identify integrity and process issues, measure performance KPI's and drive growth and expense savings through analysis and liaison with brands. Initiatives - Support key Australian Finance initiatives and projects outlined in the yearly plan. About you: You will be degree qualified and have a successful Commercial Finance/FP&A track record including budgeting/forecasts, management reporting and analytics (ideally 2-4 years). Completed a tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance and completed or working towards an internationally recognised accounting qualification (i.e. CA/CPA). Advanced-level Excel capability. Experience in the media/advertising industry or FMCG businesses or other fast-paced work environments will be highly preferred. Be confident in dealing with a range of stakeholders with strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to operate in growth-driven environments and deliver against competing priorities. Detail-oriented with exceptional data-analysis and system skills. Proven experience of successful collaboration with finance and non-finance stakeholders. Indicative salary for this role is $100k-$110k per annum including Superannuation.
