About the role Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role will assist with the completion of month-end close and reporting activities, forecast and budget submissions, assessing the profitability of investment deals and supporting sales and finance in trading agreement negotiations across multiple channels.
Maintain and update investment models and perform financial reviews, including promotional effectiveness and annual trading agreement negotiations. Support month-end closing activities, monitor D&R rate positions, and collate month-end reporting with insights from sales teams. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning by maintaining financial models and collating insights from sales and demand planning teams. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating within a high-performing team. Promote continuous improvement of financial and sales processes, assist in standardizing team processes, and support new system rollouts. About you We are searching for a commercially astute finance professional, ideally with experience in FMCG/retail/consumer industries, but we would also welcome applications from first-time Big 4/mid-tier movers. You will be well known for your relationship-building skills and your ability to deliver in a hands-on and ambiguous environment.
CA/CPA qualification (or close to completion) Strong understanding of financial and management accounting, with the desire to start your journey to becoming a true commercial partner. Comfortable delivering in a hands-on working environment. You are naturally curious with an analytical mindset and enjoy opportunities to solve complex business problems.
