About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Development Executive is responsible for generating new revenue into the Club through the Commercial Partnerships program and managing the Club's apparel partnership. This role will work across the NRL, NRLW and Netball programs.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Sales
Responsible for, in conjunction with the GM Commercial Partnerships and Commercial Manager, generating new revenue into the Club and achieving annual revenue targets.
Regular and thorough industry analysis to identify growth categories for business outreach;
Developing bespoke sponsorship proposals in response to marketing briefs and proactive industry research;
Generating and qualifying contacts, prospects and sales leads for sponsorship opportunities;
Maintaining an accurate record of traditional sponsorship assets, availability and valuations;
Maintaining an accurate and up to date pipeline system;
Identifying key influencers and decision makers within target businesses to connect and build sales opportunities;
Actively identifying business connection opportunities amongst the Titans corporate network and thorough documentation for reporting purposes.
Account Management
Managing the sponsorship relationship between the club and its apparel manufacturer partner. This includes the effective delivery of sponsorship assets for this partner, whilst working on initiatives to drive merchandise apparel sales outcomes.
Operational responsibility across the logistical requirements of managing this account. This includes working with various departments across both football and administration to ensure the timely ordering and delivery of apparel.
Other Partnership Management activity and general Account Management activity as directed by the GM Commercial Partnerships.

About You
Required:
Tertiary qualification in the Business/Sports Management space
Experience in a Business Development role as well as Account Management experience
High levels of attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously to generate results
Experience in proposal building and financial modelling of Partnerships
Desirable:
Previous experience in apparel design, implementation and marketing/sales (ideal)
This position is a full-time role with working days Monday-Friday. Due to the nature of the business, weekend work will be required throughout the NRL season to attend and cover games.
