About the rolePARC Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Commercial & Contracts Manager to join our dynamic Infrastructure and Defence team, based in our Applecross head office. Reporting to the GM Infrastructure and Defence, in this fulltime position you will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust commercial controls are in place across all contracts, analysing and identifying financial or commercial trends and providing insight to improve and maximise performance, whilst minimising contractual and financial risk to the business.
What you'll be doing Inspire and lead a dynamic and high performing team, fostering a collaborative and safe working environment whilst providing support to successfully deliver all projects.Conduct stringent financial analysis to support decision making.Monitoring project budgets, costs and profitability to maximise financial performance.Forecasting budget requirements for the short, medium and long term, in addition to analysing and managing project financials.Negotiating, advising and securing information around pricing for commercial contracts.Partnering with business managers to drive financial performance.Driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget.Complete and oversee the negotiation, drafting and execution of contracts.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory bodies / requirements.Reviewing contractual commitments and interpretation of rights and obligations and assisting as required with assessment of claims made under contracts by or against the business.Evaluating commercial performance drivers and employing risk management frameworks and strategies for the organisation.Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise.Mentor and lead a team of Commercial Managers and Contract Administrators.What we're looking for Degree in Accounting, Finance, law or a related field.Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in a senior commercial & contracts role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.Proven track record in commercial and contract management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Strong commercial acumen.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and motivate a team.A bit about Us PARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation projects.
