The Company Our client is a recognised GlobalFMCG in the consumer goods & retail/wholesale space. They have anexpanding presence in Australia due to an outstanding product range, andhighly developed sales & marketing strategy. Due to some key projectsthey are looking for a strong Commercial Business Partner to join the teamon a 12 month contract. The company is a known employer of choice, offeringflexibility & career progression to its staff, so there could be longterm opportunities. The Role Reporting directly to the GeneralManager – ANZ you will take ownership of the Commercial P&L for theretail division. Main responsibilities: Reporting & analyses for the commercial P&L vs plan, forecastsand prior yearControl, interpret, challenge and communicate these analyses to theappropriate levels within the divisionSet up and report on specific projects (e.g. strategic relaunches,pricing programs, …)Post contract reviews to analyse accuracy in costing and pricingBudgets & forecasts and estimatesDeliver financial support to strategic planning process,Develop financial models and scenarios for business opportunities andspecial projectsCoach and train the local commercial teams on reports andprocessesInteraction with a wide range of stakeholders from different businessareas – local and Group Preferred Experience The ideal candidate willhave the technical skills & commercial nous to support the team throughthis next growth phase. The successful applicant ideally will have: 3-5 years' experience in a similar role – ideally FMCG,manufacturing, distribution, salesTertiary QualificationsStrong business partnering abilities – both locally and abroadKnowledge of SAP, Power BI, Excel We are looking for a highly motivated and results orientated leader,who will thrive in the rapidly changing and challenging environment. To besuccessful you will need to be flexible and have the ability to developsolid relationships and work collaboratively with Senior Managers.
