THE ROLE
Applications are sought from experienced Commercial and Contracts Specialist to join the team at Ora Banda.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
In collaboration with the Commercial Manager, develop the procurement & Contracts strategy for OBM.Establish and implement appropriate contract administration & compliance policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective contract management.In conjunction with supply chain to ensure appropriate supplies of goods and services for Davyhurst operationDevelop and maintain positive relationships with contracting parties.Establish agreements with vendors and suppliers that drive performance, delivering effective and sustainable outcomes.Experience in reporting on contracts metrics, deliverables and commercial performance.Experience in drafting and review of letters, variations, and scope of work documents.Identify opportunities to improve and better utilise systems to support compliance to procurement business controlsFocus efforts to directly impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability and operational effectiveness.ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Degree qualified in Engineering, Commerce, or Legal discipline, or equivalent industry experienceMinimum of 10 years relevant experience, ideally within the Mining or Construction IndustryExtensive contract management experience with an in-depth understanding and appreciation of commercial, financial and advanced contracting concepts.Familiarity with specific products and requirements for plant processing operations and mine site operationsStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Your motivation:
