If so, we invite you to join Team Global Express as a Commercial Analyst, where you'll be at the heart of our commercial operations, influencing growth, and delivering business-critical financial insights.About the Role:Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, the Commercial Analyst plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive reporting and leading continuous improvement initiatives within our Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) function. You'll be responsible for supporting executive forecasting, budgeting, and providing key insights that drive performance and strategy.Key Responsibilities:Forecasting & Reporting: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the CFO and CSO, to support the development and refinement of revenue and volume forecasting processes. Provide timely, accurate reporting of commercial and financial performance.Project Leadership: Lead key projects to standardize revenue reporting across the business. This includes developing new dashboards in collaboration with Sales Operations and the Continuous Improvement teams, driving efficiencies, and delivering enhanced insights for the wider business.Sales Reporting: Assist in compiling Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) for the Sales team, including analysis of new business, churn, and share of wallet (SOW) metrics.Training & Development: Manage BP&A team training needs across critical tools such as TM1, Atlas, and Power BI to ensure the team's continuous improvement and growth.Process Improvement: Work with various teams, including S&OP, to refine and improve customer volume and yield forecasting, enhancing accuracy and driving business decisions.Ad-Hoc Commercial Analysis: Provide commercial analysis and support for special projects or initiatives as needed.Skills & Capabilities We're Looking For:Expertise in advanced Excel functions, SQL queries, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.Strong experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling using driver-based approaches.Proven project management or business analysis experience, with a track record of successfully identifying and embedding process improvements.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.A proactive mindset, able to work independently with high attention to detail and the ability to balance between detailed analysis and big-picture insights.Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Desired Experience & Qualifications:A tertiary qualification in Economics, Accounting, or Business, coupled with a professional accounting qualification and a minimum of 5 years' experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
