About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Commercial Analyst located in Canning Vale WA.
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for gathering financial and operational data about the organisation and providing assessments and analysis of the data in support of driving the positive direction of the company.
An important role that will help support a variety of stakeholders across the business, including Commercial Managers and senior leaders across our Liquor pillar (ALM) In this Role Identify key data sources, both internal and external, analysis and insight generation to inform key decision processes for commercial activities Manage the month-end accounting and reporting process Assist with budget development, forecasts and strategic planning processes Provide support for the preparation of ad hoc reports as required by the business Assist with claims resolution reviews Assist with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable related queries You're Likely a Match If Degree qualified (Accounting) and working towards CPA / CA Demonstrated experience within an accounting, analytical or related commercial role with previous FMCG / Liquor / Warehouse and Distribution experience is highly desirable Advance system skills including Excel & Access Data visualization experience, ideally PowerBI would be desirable Life at Metcash Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
