The Company FourQuarters Recruitment is proudly partnering with one of Australia's well established customer services businesses with large blue-chip telecommunication, government, insurance and utlities businesses as key clients.
Our client is considered one of the most exciting and progressive businesses within their respective sector. As a result of constant execution of strategy the business has experienced solid and maintainable growth.
Due to this growth and several large-scale projects that Finance are expected to deliver, they are now seeking the support of an additional Commercial Analyst within the Commercial Finance team.
The Role The Commercial Analyst role will report into the Group Manager of Strategy and Solutions and the Commercial Manager.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the Senior Finance Business Partner and/or Finance Manager to support decision making. Understand the business, its value drivers and its policies and practices in order to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. Identify and deliver effective solutions to drive commercial and financial performance. Ensure key messages underpinning current and future performance are promptly and clearly articulated and well understood by stakeholders. Review results of relevant business areas with stakeholders ensuring the information is high quality, results are well understood, and supporting analysis is provided. Use the business results to provide relevant recommendations to the Finance Manager. Improve monthly reporting to identify key trends and key analysis for the business unit. Support the preparation of the budgets, forecasts and 10 year plans for your business unit portfolio challenging the business to ensure that all necessary items are included within targeted expenditure levels. Provide commentary on key items and assist with the analysis of the forecast, budget and 10 year plan, ensuring the information is high quality. About You The ideal candidate will have a highly analytical mindset and approach to the role. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maximise of partnering opportunities with internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be able to quickly and effectively build professional relationships and add value to those around you.
This role would be well suited to an individual who has a CA, CPA, or CIMA or excellent experience in a similar role.
