Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 470 people with an additional 1,600 contractors working on our assets.
AGIG is leading the way for the Australian renewable gas sector, and are committed to sustainable gas delivery today, and tomorrow. Our low carbon vision, targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.
About the Opportunity
AGIG are currently seeking a Commercial Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, this position provides commercial support for contractual obligations, building and maintaining revenue, cost models for budgeting and maintaining regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Seek and understand compliance issues and new Gas Rules concerning AGIG pipelines and Storage facility Preparation of inputs required for regulatory submissions Preparation of analysis and inputs required for presentations to customers, industry bodies, or other stakeholders (fostering lasting relationships) Understanding of economic and financial models, including the ability to build and operate models for budgeting purposes About You
Proven commercial and industry experience Degree qualified in a relevant commercial discipline Strong communication skills with experience in internal and external stakeholder engagement Skilled in economic modelling (mid- to advanced excel knowledge) Understands the dynamics of the Australian energy market, with an emphasis on WA Understands elements of agreements Regulatory and compliance knowledge particularly economics of regulated markets and entities What we offer

DBP also provides design, project management and construction services to companies wishing to connect to the DBNGP for pipeline laterals, inlet connections and metering stations. In many cases DBP is also chosen to provide ongoing maintenance and integrity services.
