This is a pivotal role with a high level of exposure to all areas of our company where you can have a real impact on commercial decisions and outcomes. Working in a fast-moving retail environment, you will be working with large volumes of data from our retail, head office and Distribution Centre and be able to drive commercial decisions and work with exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be working closely with the Commercial team to assist in updating reporting for the Retail and Central Operations teams. You will be responsible for:
Providing meaningful actionable analysis and insights to the organisation and its stakeholders to drive commercial decision-making. Assisting in the preparation of robust budgets and forecasts and associated plans of action. Delivering reporting that drives performance focus and accountability. Engaging with multi-divisional touchpoints across our business. Driving commercial decisions and budget. Building productive stakeholder relationships. More about you
3-5 years in an accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance role.
Experience in a complex, fast-paced business environment. Retail/FMCG industry experience preferred, but not essential. Advanced Excel capability including complex modelling, reporting, and preferably query building. Proven experience as an effective business partner. Prior experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and visual dashboards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Proven experience in using large and complex data sets to transform them into relevant, insightful, and accessible insights. Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with and influence diverse groups of people. Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting is preferred; however, Bachelor of Science/Economics will also be accepted; and CA/CPA qualified (Part Qualified accepted). About us
