Job Description You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data for the business.
Predominantly related to Retained Terms reporting, which includes understanding, documenting, and managing the accounting processes for rebates at the general ledger level.
Additional responsibilities include preparing monthly performance reports for the Buying and Merchandising teams, and acting as the Finance Business Partner for the Buying, Merchandising, and Retail management teams.Key focus areas include:
Monitoring Retained Terms (rebate earnings) from suppliesAnalysing the efficiency of supplier-funded promotions, including sales impact and completeness of rebate claimsImproving operational efficiency in warehouse, distribution, and company-owned retail storesTracking actual performance against the planTimely and accurate processing of financial reports, adhering to deadlinesAssisting the Leadership Team with the timely resolution of queries from both internal and external stakeholdersReceiving positive feedback from stakeholdersDeveloping effective relationships across the businessThe Successful Applicant At least three years experience in a Commercial Analyst/Accountant role within a retail or FMCG business is preferredA degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or FinanceCPA designation (or similar international qualification) is highly regardedKnowledge of ERP systems - expertise in Microsoft Navision and Business Central being advantageous.Experience with system implementations is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytic and organisational skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality in all mattersA proactive attitude and the ability to show initiativeWhat's on Offer Chance to work in a newly created role with a blank canvasAn outstanding opportunity to build on your experience, expand your skill set and forge ahead with your career.The support of a hard-working and highly professional team.A dynamic work environment where no two days are ever the same.An employer who promotes team members based on merit and encourages work-life balance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
