Tender Head Contract Review and Analysis: Thoroughly review, assess, and analyse tender Head Contracts. Identifying risk, ambiguities, discrepancies within Contracts.
Develop a risk and Departures schedule for review by Commercial Team.
Pre-Contract Phase: Assist with overlaying head contract to tender head contract to identify changes and ensure agreed departures are included.
Assist with creating the "Commercial Handover" document including completing the Rights and Obligations sheet (identifies Head Contract obligations by Contractor for entitlements, including payment terms, securities, Extension of time (EOT) notifications & claims, including with costs, variation entitlements, margin and profit, latent conditions, and completion requirements).
Credit Applications for new vendors: Fill out application
Initial review of terms and conditions (i.e - require understanding of basic terms, payment terms, liabilities & indemnities, defective goods, PPSA under Australian law, securities and charges, warranties, claim for loss and damage and excluding consequential loss)
Securities: General admin completing bank guarantee requests
General admin completing letters for return of BGs
Follow up of overdue securities from project teams
Insurance Schedule: Creating and updating insurance schedule post renewals
Cost Tracking: Maintain tracking register for lawyers' fees
Experience and proficiency in: Australian Construction Law (Required)
