#140567 Highlights Include: 6-Month Contract Immediate Start SAP Environment Job Description: Reporting to the Manager - Asset Accounting you will work closely with Project managers to deliver key financial and reporting functions to ensure that projects are cleared to the fixed asset register in a timely and accurate manner.
In particular you will: • Follow-up with Project Managers to ensure that relevant information within SAP is accurate, up-to-date & contains all necessary information, and that costs are allocated correctly.
• Review and monitor of projects including the monitoring of the inactive WIP balances in line with Group Accounting Policy and recommending for write-off if necessary • Identify and resolve issues associated with project financials and fixed asset creation, including the establishment of new processes and controls • Maintain the integrity of financial data from SAP and ensure Group Accounting and Finance policy and delegations of authority are adhered to • Provide communication/advice to project managers with regard to accounting concepts and processes To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience using large scale finance systems such as SAP along with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
You will display end to end project accounting experience within a capital intensive environment, including a strong understanding of the project life cycle and demonstrate an ability to work productively within complex organizations and multi-disciplinary teams.
With a proven ability to plan and organize work and make decisions based on sound- judgment, you will effectively communicate, analyze and discuss issues with stakeholders and customers across all organizational levels.
