Job SummaryNetApp is looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join our exceptional sales team in Perth.
We are looking for a motivated salesperson to understand and sell NetApp's full Product, Cloud and Professional Services portfolio to new and existing NetApp customers across top Commercial accounts in Perth, as well as maintaining positive ongoing relationships to meet evolving customer needs.
Working in conjunction with channel partners, your overall focus areas will be in prospecting, developing business, responding to RFP's, developing proposals for presentation to customers, and selling Products and Services.
You will be supported by cross-functional teams from NetApp's Marketing, Systems Engineering and Product Development functions to attain and exceed sales performance goals.
You will utilize your excellent relationship building, negotiating, and strong technical skills to be successful in this role.
Job RequirementsThe essential responsibilities of the Commercial Account Manager are to work directly with NetApp's partners and their customers to capture sales opportunities and to work effectively across functions with other NetApp employees.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
Create, implement and execute a territory plan to achieve desired market share growthLeverage existing industry contacts in the technology space to acquire new customersIdentify, source and initiate contact with new prospects, building productive relationships with key decision makers and influencersManage the sales pipeline to quickly grow prospects into new customersRegular forecasting and reporting of sales pipeline and bookingsFurther develop existing customer relationships to increase our product utilizationEnhance ongoing communication to maintain high customer satisfaction levelsProactively identify and address support issues in a timely mannerMaintain and demonstrate both a commercial and technical understanding of NetApp's products and services in order to appeal to a broad customer audienceAttend and speak at tradeshows and conferences; manage RFP responsesProvide, or facilitate training opportunities for your accountsIdentify NetApp customer references that can be utilized when reference sellingSkills & Experience Required8 to 12 years of overall experience is preferred with at least 5 years of experience in Enterprise IT sales cyclesProven business development skills and a track record of winning new customers through leveraging a trusted networkStrong understanding of Channel/Partner Eco-system in a similar environment as NetAppAbility to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functionsAptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problemsAbility to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help customers make buying decisionsConversant in the space of Data Centre and Infrastructures coupled with either Cloud, DevOps or Software knowledge and experienceStrong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skillsEqual Opportunity Employer: NetApp is firmly committed to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and to compliance with all laws that prohibit employment discrimination based on age, race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, religion, disability or genetic information, pregnancy, and any protected classification.
