This is achieved by building strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business drivers and selling Hitachi Vantara solutions. The Commercial Account Manager (CAM) must understand Hitachi Vantara's portfolio of products, services, and solutions to uniquely solve a customer's needs and become a long-term trusted solutions partner.Responsibilities1. Execute sales strategies/activities including developing new opportunities through the entire sales cycle in mid to large-sized commercial accounts.2. Understand customer business needs and sell Hitachi Vantara products, services & solutions through strong account management activities.3. Coordinate with Field Marketing to develop and execute regional events to generate demand and new leads.4. Weekly sales forecast & cadence.5. Develop & execute territory sales plan and opportunity close plans.6. Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new customers.7. Achieve sales goals for assigned Commercial Territory.8. Own the relationship with key stakeholders and decision-makers in Focus Accounts.9. Develop & execute sales strategy for the territory to meet and exceed sales quota.10. Provide tailored solutions that resonate with customers and solve their unique business opportunities.11. Balance between short-term and long-term growth for all opportunities.12. Create strong internal and external partner relationships.13. Keep current with competitive advantage and industry trends.14. Accurately forecast sales pipeline for effective support of the business strategy.15. Regularly update and maintain all account information in CRM tools.16. Support the broader Hitachi team where required.Performance Measures• Achieves sales quota and profitability targets.• Forecast accuracy, predictability, and linearity.• Completes required training and development objectives.Profile• B Tech or Business Management degree preferred.• Minimum 8 to 12 years of strategic sales experience in an IT company.• Proven track record in achieving annual quotas exceeding US$3M.• Assertive self-starter with the ability to manage work in a dynamic environment.• Strong technical and business acumen.• Experience selling through or with partners.• Strong executive presence and relationship building skills.• Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills.• Strong communicator and presenter.• Operates with the highest integrity and upholds Company Values.Competencies• Function independently with minimal supervision.• Effective communication and presentation skills.• Strong time management and negotiation skills.• Proven ability to build relationships at the executive level.• Strong collaborative, leadership, and sales skills.• Ability to translate technology into operational and business impact.We are an equal opportunity employer.
