We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our fast-growing Brandwatch Sales organisation. Reporting into the APAC Sales Manager in Melbourne, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of Brandwatch's top tier clients in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing existing customers in a fast-paced SaaS environment with a skill-set including but not limited to renewal negotiation, up-selling and especially cross-selling, with a strong emphasis on forging long-term relationships. You will drive the growth of the accounts by challenging the way our customers do their business and promote how Brandwatch's service fits into that new way of operating. You would be a great fit if you are comfortable in standing your ground and challenging the status quo of your customer in negotiation situations along with a sound business acumen. What you will do: Drive the growth of and build a long-term relationship with our existing customer accounts in the APAC regionAdvise existing clients on best practices that will drive ROIMaintain constant contact from the initial on-boarding process through negotiation of renewalChallenge the status quo on our current customers while also taking ownership of contract renewalsCollaborate with the Customer Success team to retain your own portfolio of clientsIdentify renewal risk and collaborate with internal teams to clear/alleviate blockers and ensure a successful renewalBe the primary point of contact for the customer for all commercial and contractual mattersPartner with internal Brandwatch stakeholders to align account activities with the customer's business case and strategyPossess excellent product knowledge of all Brandwatch products and lead product demonstrations tailored to client's needs. What you will have: A strong background in sales (commercial and enterprise), SaaS experience preferred5+ years of Account Management experienceDrive and ambition to achieve your sales quotasCommercial acumen and comfortable with working towards set targets e.g. goal-driven and accountableExperience in growing existing client base and negotiating renewalsA results oriented, highly motivated, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work independentlyFamiliarity operating in a high-velocity and high-volumed sales environmentOutstanding consultative skills (including objection handling, negotiating, persuading)Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEnglish to a native level - any other APAC language would be a bonusDeep domain knowledge (social media space / customer experience) Soft-skills: Top-class presentation and communication skillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skillsDetail-oriented and persuasiveStrong sense of ownershipProficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, 6SenseUse of, implementation and understanding of sales process and methodologies. Nice to have: Experience with selling marcom focused solutionsFamiliarity with Sandler, BANT, MEDDPICC or other similar sales methodologies.
