Overview of the Team
Comcare is undertaking an organisation-wide digital transformation. As part of this program, Comcare has recognized the importance of data in future-proofing the solution so that it meets our strategic priorities and legislative obligations.
The investment that Comcare is making in data through the program is to modernise our data management platform, optimise data governance, and continually work towards best-practice analytics so that all decisions are data-driven.
The Office of the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (OCDAO) team is responsible for ensuring that Comcare takes a mature and sophisticated approach to the management and use of data.
The program team has a collaborative, agile culture that values purposeful work, making a positive impact, and integrity. As part of this, it promotes a culture of valuing others, commitment, wellbeing, opportunity and celebrating achievements.
Overview of the Role
As a data analyst, you will contribute to delivering organisation-wide digital transformation by analysing, evaluating and integrating a variety of information, data and using statistical analysis techniques, and provide scheme performance data to stakeholders.
As an analyst within the organisation-wide digital transformation program you will conduct analysis to undertake data quality assessments, data quality remediation processes, modelling and documenting data, mapping data from legacy systems to target systems and models, and entity resolution.
You will also recognise and define data analysis and reporting process improvement opportunities to bring deeper meaning to reported data producing actional insights which include supporting the improvements to enterprise data governance.
Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment
Character clearance (police records check). Health clearance. Six months probationary period for new engagements. Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance. How to apply
