Comcare has an Ongoing Vacancy for an APS6 ETL Data Pipeline Engineer in the Technology and Information Management Team, in Canberra, Melbourne, Launceston or Sydney.

Overview of Team and Role The Technology and Information Management team maintain Comcare's Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provide strategic leadership, governance, solutions and advice for the effective management of information.
This position will play a pivotal role in the creation and maintenance of our advanced Azure DevSecOps/DataOps platforms.
The position will have a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies and a commitment to continuous learning.
The ETL Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing robust data ingestion pipelines, ensuring their successful deployment to production environments. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to tailor solutions that are not only effective but also scalable and adaptable to future needs. Staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in DevSecOps and DataOps will be essential for maintaining the integrity and advancement of our systems.
The position will assist with the technical development, implementation and maintenance of Comcare's DevSecOps and DataOps platforms, and will also mentor junior staff and assist in their development.
Qualifications/Experience Mandatory: Recent advanced experience (4+ years) in DevOps, data ingestion pipelines, or a related discipline. Recent and relevant experience with monitoring tools is highly regarded, but not mandatory. Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
