Excellent benefits including salary packagingPart Time, 25.8 hours per week from Feb, 2025 - Feb, 2026About the RoleThe post includes 7 to 8 contact sessions per week including public and private hospital operating, access to robotic operating sessions, outpatient clinic, colonoscopy and pelvic floor investigation. Opportunity for research has dedicated sessions and is guided by experienced clinicians. Remuneration is in the form of part salary, part private assisting fees and part on call allowance from the public hospital. There is an opportunity to obtain a higher degree with the post being extended to two years. The project would be in inflammatory bowel disease with co-supervision from the gastroenterology team.The post will provide the applicant with both experience and knowledge and may place them in good standing for applying for accredited training. In addition, they will gain skills in pelvic floor investigation including 3D ultrasound, pudendal nerve terminal motor latency and manometry. The unit has a busy workload in particular in colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, laparoscopic colorectal surgery and pelvic floor investigation and treatment.
