Your Team The FirstChoice & Investments team within Colonial First State are responsible for the product development and management across the FirstChoice platform as well as CFS's range of investment management products and alliance partners.
Your Responsibilities Support growth ambition of FirstChoice through the design of the investment menu. Maintain relationships which provide positive outcomes for CFS customers and its funds management suppliers. Work collaboratively with other team members to support changes to the investment menu including drafting Board, Committee or Management papers considering key requirements for quality, demand and price. Present recommendations, provide timely and accurate information that supports decision-making governance and implementation of menu changes through operations and disclosure teams. Support other business units with product related enquiries. Remain aware and up to date with industry trends and developments and contribute views on how these may impact CFS's offers. Analysis of the market and competitor products relative to our own to identify new opportunities. Your Capability and Experience Approved experience in financial services. Technical knowledge relevant to funds management and superannuation industry (i.e. legal, tax, product and financial concepts). Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business. Work well within a team to share ideas and information and seek others' input and opinion. Adaptability to work on a broad variety of product related tasks at various stages of implementation or operation. Ability to write and present ideas clearly and succinctly and simplify complex concepts to suit the audience. Strong problem-solving skills, numerical and analytical skills, working knowledge of good data management including Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerBI. Project management skills and ability to keep to timelines using influence to deliver through cross functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
