We are seeking an experienced investment banker/M&A advisor to join our team. Our client is a well-regarded independent investment bank with a great leadership team and a strong client list.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the execution of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. Manage and mentor a team of investment banking professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering their professional development. Take a leading role in client management activities, building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding their strategic objectives, and providing tailored financial solutions. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modelling to evaluate investment opportunities, identify risks, and assess potential returns for clients. Collaborate with senior executives and other stakeholders to develop transaction strategies, formulate recommendations, and present findings to clients. Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new client opportunities, participating in client pitches, and contributing to preparing marketing materials. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or CFA are highly desirable. Extensive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully executing complex transactions.
