The elite football development program will enroll student athletes aged 12 – 18 years old from across the Asia-Pacific region to offer pathway opportunities into the sport with students working to secure football scholarships to U.S. colleges. Paterson College:Competitive salaries and benefits package.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.Spacious campus with expansive green space and gardens.Dedicated relaxation within staff room featuring massage chairs and fully equipped kitchen and dining area.Beautiful location on the Gold Coast with access to pristine beaches, lush hinterland and year-round sunshine.Your Responsibilities:Lead the strategy and support NFL Academy students with the US College recruitment process.Work with NFL and College staff to identify and recruit prospective students into the NFL Academy.Coaching multiple position groups with a specific focus on the offensive and defensive line positions.Mentorship to the student-athletes in the program and College.Community relations and engagement from both A.B. Paterson College and the NFL.Preparing and distributing periodic progress reports.Effectively communicating with all other staff members who engage with students.Communication with parents as per College guidelines on a regular basis, including presenting student progress reports and informing parents of requisite student discipline.Attending parent-teacher meetings.Maintaining order and discipline among students whilst promoting safety and compliance within the College rules and guidelines.Attending Staff Professional Development workshops and meetings on curriculum, organisation and guidelines.Checking family details and passing relevant medical information on to the College Nurse, when required.Referring students to the relevant College support personnel, such as Head of House or College Counsellor as required.Actively promoting the co-curricular program by attending sports games, musical productions, or club/society group meetings to support staff and students.Actively participating in the co-curricular offerings of the College.Our Requirements:Current or ability to secure Australian based CPR and First Aid qualifications.Suitable coaching experience.Proven experience developing students aged 12 – 18 years of age.Current Blue Card / QCT Registration.Closing Date for applications: 6th January 2025 at 3pmSubmit your application and please include:A current resume with the contact details of at least two professional referees (at least one reference provided will need to be from a Senior Management Team member);A cover letter outlining your suitability for this role.A.B.
