Randstad are currently seeking professionals to join one of Australia's fastest growing finance lenders within their Contact Centre team as a Collections Specialist.

Your new roleThis is a very important role in a Collections team where you will be building relationships with customers whilst providing them with quality resolution of disputed accounts in a soft collections manner.
This is a full time opportunity where you will be using your top notch customer service skills when speaking to customers over the phone and/or corresponding via email and identifying solutions to assist in restoring secured and unsecured loans into good standing accounts.
You will be receiving and assessing financial hardship applications and seeing to each customer's situation with individuality and empathy.
What will you be responsible for?As a Collections Specialist you will focus on early stage arrears on our client's secured and unsecured loan portfolios, overseeing and managing collection activities to help their customers get back on track.
Assessing customer financial circumstances and identifying solutions to assist in restoring their loans into good standingReceiving and assessing financial hardship applicationsLiaising with external collections agencies, where requiredEarly stage skip tracing, where requiredAssessing and responding to proposed debt agreements and bankruptcy petitionsImplementing and documenting effective collections processes, and creating a 'collections culture' with other team membersBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with senior management and other internal teamsCompliance with all regulatory obligations including the NCCP Act, Privacy Act, ASIC Regulatory Guides and AML/KYC requirementsWhat type of background will make you successful?2+ years' experience and demonstrated high performance in an unsecured or secured collections roleA strong understanding of credit and collections regulationsStrong verbal communications and ability to build rapport with our customersHigh level of attention to detail and organizationThe ability to work autonomously, think on your feet and work in an evolving work environment dealing with complex enquiriesYour skills and experiencePrevious experience in a collections position with a clear understanding of the credit and collecting processesYou will have the natural ability and desire to help others as well as building trusting relationshipsStrong computer skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsYou thrive in busy, fast paced environmentsYou're empathetic, compassionate & professionalAbility to work in a teamAble to thrive in a KPI driven environmentBenefits:A competitive and attractive salaryBeautiful new office located in a convenient CBD locationAn engaging and motivating work environmentMonthly social eventsAn exciting opportunity to work within one Australia's fastest growing lendersMonday - Friday - no weekends or late nights!Hybrid working model on offerHours:Permanent, full time.Monday - Friday - 8:30 - 5:30No weekend work!If this sounds like you, we want to speak to you!
