As they expand, they are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join the team.In this role, you will be essential in building relationships with our valued customers, providing exceptional service, and finding tailored solutions to meet their needs.Key Responsibilities:Build and nurture strong relationships with customersNegotiate, implement, and monitor payment arrangementsMaintain a professional and trustworthy demeanor, ensuring compliance with regulatory standardsConduct a high volume of outbound and inbound collection callsIdentify customers facing financial hardship and provide appropriate supportRecommend alternative collection strategies, such as hardship plans, repossessions, or legal actionsConduct investigations and skip-tracing as necessaryTake full accountability for managing assigned accountsKeep meticulous records of customer interactions and communicationsEnsure adherence to all regulatory requirements and quality standardsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Experience in a collections environment, assisting customers in debt or experiencing financial hardshipBackground in customer service, either over the phone or in-person, within a values-driven organizationExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsSolutions-oriented mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in financial mattersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and negotiate effectivelyPreferred Skills and Qualifications:Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry accreditationsStrong problem-solving abilities with a pragmatic approachCollaborative team player who works well with othersIf you are passionate about helping customers navigate their financial challenges and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference, we invite you to apply and join the team!
