Partnering with a global business process management partner who is establishing a contact centre team in Melbourne CBD. This company has a presence in multiple countries overseas, working alongside several Fortune 500 companies, providing outstanding customer service solutions. Seeking multiple customer service and collections agents to join in November. We encourage Australian citizens, Permanent residents and those who have 2+ years' on their current visa to apply. Your new role
Working in a high volume contact centre, you will be contacting clients via phone, email and SMS to collect outstanding payments. This is a customer service based role where you will be confident to manage inbound calls and make outbound calls to liaise with clients and negotiate payment plans while following all relevant laws and regulations. With clear communication skills, you will collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies and ensure all records of collections and client interactions are accurately recorded. This position will be working on a rotating roster 7 days a week, onsite in the vibrant Melbourne CBD, and between the hours of 8am-8pm. This position is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5 hours a week.
What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 6-12 months recent experience in collections, retention, or complex customer service.Exceptional active listening skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.A natural conversationalist with strong empathy.Problem-solving skills, capable of thinking on your feet while assisting vulnerable members.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Proficient typing skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.AU or NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or two years remaining on a valid working visa, as this is a permanent position.Availability to work 37.5 hours full-time each week.Please note: this position requires a contact centre skills test to be completed to assess suitability.
