What's in it for you? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Collections Administration Officer to join our Collections & Financial Assistance team at our Head Office in Mulgrave. This role is fundamental as to supporting the team with the aim of controlling the rate of delinquency and cost of risk within our business, including our New Zealand portfolio by way of performing administrative tasks. What you'll do: •Collections administration tasks, which includes paying invoices, managing the team's shared inbox, flagging all repossessions, total loss claims and much more;
•Ensuring all bankruptcies/liquidations processes are met and all registers kept updated;
•Participate and support relevant team projects and meetings;
•Build and maintain a high-level of customer service via all contact points with internal and external customers, including our Mercantile agents;
•Support the team to manage delinquent contracts with the intent to cure and reduce our overall Non-Performing Loan Portfolio (NPL')
Qualifications
The skills we are looking for: To be successful in this role you will display dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. You will also have an excellent ability to problem-solve and resolve conflict as well as strong administrative and organisational skills. Self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously is required. Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Knowledge and experience in a Collections environment, including Bankruptcy/Liquidation requirements would be highly advantageous, along with an understanding of the Motor Vehicle Finance Industry.
