What's Involved: Maintain and control a debtors ledger to maximize collections and minimize bad debt.Manage, investigate and troubleshoot customer issues, expediting resolution of credit claims by liaising with Operations, Trade, Sales, and customers.Effective and mutually beneficial payment negotiations on behalf of the business within prescribed policies.Achieve desired collection outcomes and manage doubtful debts to determine when to escalate for further advice as per policies and procedures.Undertake receipt allocation and account reconciliation.Liaise with customers to understand their business requirements, facilitate effective & simple trading that promotes service and supports collections.Who we're looking for: You will be a high energy team player with a can-do attitude, a results driven clear communicator with awareness around the key elements of collections.
You will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
You will possess excellent customer service, stakeholder management and communication skills.
You'll need: Experience in collections, finance & customer service an advantageStrong technical ability – Oracle is preferable, Microsoft Excel & OutlookGood organization, negotiation, problem solving and influencing skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentYou'll be part of a workplace where you'll feel like you belong.
