The role: Represent clients in a variety of plaintiff litigation matters, with a particular focus on Workcover cases. Quickly learn and apply your knowledge as a junior Lawyer to become self-sufficient and a valuable team member. Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for trial. Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and develop effective case strategies. Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in court and during alternative dispute resolution processes. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive and efficient case management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents. About you: Admission to practice law in Victoria, Australia. A passion for personal injury and plaintiff litigation law. Motivated and ambitious with ability to manage a busy caseload. Exceptional client focus, fostering relationships based on trust and respect. Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Excellent written and oral communication abilities. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
