We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Lawyer with expertise in superannuation / insurance law, looking to join a successful and supportive team and advance their career.
The role:
Advise and represent clients in superannuation-related insurance claims, including Total and Permanent Disability (TPD), income protection, and death benefit claims. Review and interpret policy documents, fund guidelines, and insurance contracts. Liaise with superannuation funds, insurers, and medical professionals to build strong cases for your clients. Negotiate settlements or represent clients in dispute resolutions, tribunals, and courts when necessary. Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices in superannuation and insurance. Actively participate in networking and business development activities which seeks to grow the firm's client base, standing and reputation.
About you:

We are keen to speak with people with 2 plus years of post-admission experience. Experience in superannuation, insurance claims, or related areas of law. Strong understanding of superannuation fund structures, insurance policies, and claims processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders effectively. Exceptional client focus, fostering relationships based on trust and respect. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ambitious and looking to invest in your career and be part of a growth area.
