About the role As our next Supply Chain Specialist, you will report through to the Head of Supply Chain – Grocery and will partner with Supply Planners to identify and realise opportunities in the end-to-end supply chain across the Business Unit.
You'll also:
Provide PMO leadership across Supply Chain projects, in order to deliver end-to-end improvements. Act as second in charge and provide short term cover for Supply Chain Managers. Participate in the Supply Chain improvement committee across the Business Units. Deliver initiatives that are aligned to and support the execution of the Business Units strategy. Lead the Cost of Goods reduction strategy for Supply Chain within the Business Unit. Identify development opportunities for Supply Chain team members and support their technical development. Support the management of working capital across the Business Unit. About you and your skills You will be part of the supply chain improvement committee and this role will leverage your proven project management and stakeholder management skills. This role will also benefit from your:
Proven experience in Supply Chain planning, within a Retail or FMCG environment. A relevant Tertiary Degree or other related qualification. Demonstrated experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodology. Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and cost drivers. Proven understanding of retail replenishment systems and factors that affect store availability. Developed data analysis and insight generation skills, with advanced MS Excel skills. Demonstrated project delivery experience. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across a broad set of stakeholders. What's in it for you?
