About the team Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. About the role Responsible for the efficient operation and continual improvement of the Architecture Practice within the Strategy & Architecture team. This includes defining processes, optimizing resource management, and uplifting ways of working to maximize team effectiveness. Some key responsibilities include: Collaborate with the Governance Manager around reporting on the effectiveness of the Architecture Practice at Coles Group. Managing capacity planning, resource allocation, and demand forecasting to ensure team efficiency and availability. Leading, managing, and delivering internal architecture initiatives and team improvements. Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and professional development activities across the team. Overseeing financial management, including invoice processing, and reviewing monthly time charges across vendors. Responsible for the agenda and facilitation of Enterprise Architecture cadences, off-sites and team events. Tracking and reporting on team performance metrics, recoverability targets, and compliance requirements. Accountable for individual and team compliance with company values, policies, and procedures (including the Coles Code of Conduct) and all applicable external laws and regulations. About you & your skills Proven experience in a leadership role within a technology architecture or similar function. Strong understanding of architectural principles, technology trends, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams in a hybrid delivery environment. Experience in resource management, capacity planning, and demand forecasting in complex enterprise settings. Proficiency in project management methodologies and financial reporting.
