What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal Business Unit is on the lookout for a Cold Chain Compliance Manager to join our high-performing team, based in West Melbourne. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our Cold Chain operations meet the highest standards of Food Safety and Compliance, aligned with the AFGC Standards and all relevant legal regulations. Your influence will extend across the Intermodal Business, helping to mitigate risk, improve team communication, and champion training and consultation initiatives. Key areas:
Lead proactive Cold Chain compliance management using the Cooltrax system to instantly detect and resolve refrigeration issues, ensuring top-tier food safety.
Empower Linfox Intermodal sites with critical knowledge on fault management, food safety, and compliance to uphold industry standards.
Manage the claims process related to temperature data, and prepare for HACCP and food safety audits to maintain licensing and compliance.
Track temperature-related incidents across company and subcontractor equipment, providing in-depth reports on saved loads and any claims.
Deliver specialized training to operators, drivers, and teams, ensuring customer freight requirements are met with the highest compliance standards.
Are you the one?
5+ years of industry experience within similar roles.
Certification in Auditing, HACCP principles and implementation or willingness to undertake.
Advanced skills in MS Office, Word and Excel.
Familiarity with Cooltrax systems or similar will be highly regarded.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of state based legislative standards for Food Safety & Licensing.
Ability to coach and influence leadership to set and enforce safety standards and targets.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
