Play a crucial role in developing and executing data management strategies for clinical trials.
This role involves overseeing data management activities primarily conducted by external vendors and partners, ensuring the integrity, quality, and standards of clinical trial data.
The Senior Data Manager will represent Clinical Data Management within the Clinical Team and other departments, and be accountable for database design, deployment, revision, cleaning, and closure in line with regulatory standards.
Additionally, this role will focus on continuous process improvement, coordination of data management activities across trials, and establishing effective working relationships with external vendors and partners.Mandatory SkillsProven ability to lead and manage clinical data management operations, ensuring delivery and consistency.Extensive experience in all phases of clinical trials for Vaccine therapeutic area and mRNA trials, with a strong focus on critical timeline management and large-scale trials.In-depth knowledge of data standards development / maintenance and tools like Rave Classic / EDC, Veeva Vault / RIM, InForm EDC and SAS.Strong leadership in overseeing data management teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and leading process improvements.Skilled in driving automation initiatives and continuous improvement in clinical data management processes.Roles And ResponsibilitiesOversee data management activities performed by external vendors and partners, ensuring consistency and quality across trials through effective coordination.Develop and establish strong working relationships with these vendors and partners to implement clinical data management strategies that align with project goals and comply with regulatory standards for database design, deployment, revision, cleaning, and closure.Ensure the integrity and accuracy of clinical trial data and propose process improvements to enhance data management platforms.Represent Clinical Data Management within the Clinical Team and other departments, acting as a senior point of contact for client escalations and customer relationship management.
