We're looking for a hands-on Shift Manager to lead our Day and Afternoon Shift operations in Minto, NSW .

The successful candidate will be required to commence work Monday to Friday .
Afternoon Shift Manager - 3pm start
Key Responsibilities
Participate in risk management process as outlined with in the company's WH&S and QMS systems.
Lead and manage a team of experienced operators by setting performance and development plans.
Monitor and ensure all QA records are completed as required and tasks are being followed as per provided manufacturing instructions.
Report any machine or tooling deficiencies to relevant personnel, approve any temporary repairs and ensure completion of remediation works.
Provide efficient shift exchange to the following shift and management team.
Deliver improvements on process through leading CI circles on your shifts and delivering on pre agreed priority improvement areas.
Deliver right first time production safely, in line with the shift's production plan.
About You
Possess a minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors, with a preference for experience in high-risk food environments such as dairy, seafood, or ready-to-eat foods.
Demonstrated GMP and food/human safety procedure understanding.
Works in a team environment, participates in meeting team objectives.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Skills.
Previous CI experience, Lean /Sigma/ TPM/ WCM is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in packing lines with mixture of automated and manual packing.
