ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking experienced Coded Welders to join our execution team for residential and FIFO roles out of Perth for ongoing work at several sites across the Pilbara. The role will be working alongside industry leaders, performing new installations and major componentry change outs in a fast-paced environment with a mixture of project & shutdown work.
Key Responsibilities: Able to interpret drawings to fabricate and assemble components.Can confidently use industry-standard fabrication tools and equipment.Able to work both within a team environment as well as autonomously when required.Ensuring that safe work practices are always adhered to as well as all DGE and client policies and procedures.Pre-requisites: Minimum 2 years mining experience in a similar role.Previous experience in 3G/4G MMAW / FCAW.Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.Current Welding Qualifications.Current and valid Driver's Licence.Permanent Resident within Western Australia.Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical including regular drug and alcohol screenings.Previous experience in 6G MMAW / FCAW.Current and valid licences (Working at Heights, Confined Space, High Risk EWP).Current and valid client inductions (RTIO, Roy Hill, BHP and FMG).Previous exposure with shutdown services or providers.Understanding of mining operations, plant, and equipment.Flexibility to work different schedules to meet operational requirements.Previous experience associated with a Tier One Mining Organisation will be highly regarded.What We Offer: Industry-leading rates.A safe and inclusive work environment.Flexible FIFO schedules from Perth, that you choose.Work that will challenge and stimulate your technical abilities.Working with industry-recognised Subject Matter Experts / Superintendents.Genuine career development.
