Role: Coaching Lead – Regional QLD Location: Cairns, Queensland - Gimuy-walubarra yidi Country Employment Type: Permanent Full time Goodstart are currently seeking a Coach Lead to work with our Regional QLD Leadership Team.

As the Coaching Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in leading, motivating, and evaluating a team of Centre Performance Coaches while also directly coaching Centre Directors.

You will onboard new coaches, maintain professional development resources, and oversee performance to drive impactful growth.

By balancing your responsibilities between coaching and leadership, you'll guide Centre Directors using a 'coaching with accountability' approach, fostering their continual improvement.

Partnering with state leadership, you'll help set and achieve centre goals, ultimately contributing to a thriving team culture and the success of each centre.

Your Impact: As a Coaching Lead, you Will:
Empower Centre Directors to exceed NQS and Goodstart's standards by guiding performance improvement and leadership growth. Deliver impactful coaching sessions, both virtually and in-person, supporting Centre Directors in identifying focus areas, creating action plans, and achieving goals. Facilitate monthly reviews to track progress, develop leadership capabilities, and ensure effective Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs). Onboard and supervise new coaches, providing training, support, and ongoing performance evaluation to build a capable coaching team. Lead, motivate, and assess the in-state coaching team, driving professional development, goal setting, and enhancing the overall coaching culture across the organisation. You'll bring to the table: 5+ years in a leadership role. Proven experience around (reflective) coaching methodologies and practices which supports a pragmatic, approachable and supportive coaching style. Experience in influencing and coaching multi-site and diverse teams. Strong listening and comprehension skills. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
