The game loved by all South Australians WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT THE JOB Community Clubs and Coaches Support the implementation and conduct of Community Club Coach Coordinators within your allocated zone, to provide club-based coach support and development systems at each club. Deliver club-based coach education and development packages to junior and youth coaches.
This role aims to positively impact coaching capability and retention, player experiences and retention, coach behaviour, game day environments and umpire retention.

Time Commitment :
Engagement in the position to commence from November 2024 with training and planning. Peak contact periods for 2025 season is February to July at approx. 5hrs per week.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Level 2 Coaching Accreditation Drivers Licence DHS Working with Children Check ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Available for regular evenings. All elements of the role will be delivered out of normal business hours Experience coaching and/or teaching across a range of age groups Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders Ability to be effective and achieve outcomes in an autonomous work environment Highly developed empathy towards junior and youth community coaches DESIRABLE CRITERIA Experience developing and supporting coaches Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles / experience developing adults YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Advanced active listening and facilitation skills Facilitating effective feedback and reflective practice Interpersonal skills Applications open through to approximately 10 November 2024, however shortlisting and interviews may commence throughout this period.
