About the Role:
As Coordinator of Professional Pathways, you will drive career development initiatives for our teaching faculty, with a focus on igniting professional growth and supporting career transitions. Working collaboratively the Academic Office, you will design, promote, and implement programs that inspire teachers, particularly with our interns and early-career teachers to thrive in their professional journey.
Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate excellence in classroom practice, taking up teaching responsibilities in an area of specialism Oversee practicum placements within the secondary school to ensure outstanding experiences for pre-service teachers Manage a vibrant program for Teaching Interns to support professional readiness Develop supportive pathways for early career teachers, equipping them for long-term success in the profession. Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative and vibrant professional learning community, emphasising evidence-based best practice, growth, and innovation in classroom practice. Oversee and support Teacher Accreditation processes and programs for Proficient Teacher (NESA) and Experienced Teacher (ISTAA) Collaborate with Faculty Heads to establish frameworks for coaching conversations and mentoring relationships Participate actively in the School's pastoral, sporting, and co-curricular programs, contributing to the wider school community. Successful candidates will have…. ·Formal teaching qualifications preferably withpostgraduate qualifications in Educational Leadership or speciality area
·Demonstratedexperience in leading Teaching and Learning initiatives in a Secondary School landscape
- Demonstrated experience in managing Teacher Accreditation processes with NESA and / or ISTAA
·Demonstratedprofessional expertise through presenting and attending external workshops, conferences and leadership within a professional association
·Current registration with NESA
·A valid Working with Children Check number
·First Aid (with CPR) qualification (prior to commencement)
