The program has been designed to provide assessment and interventions for pregnant women or caregivers experiencing moderate to severe mental illness and their children aged 0-4 years.This position will work collaboratively to provide assessment and intervention and evaluate dyadic specific interventions for vulnerable families where a parent or carer of a child (aged 0 to 4yrs) has a diagnosed mental illness. Interventions will be delivered by face-to-face and via telehealth modes.The Nurturing Connections team will work across hospital, community, Non-Government Organisations and home visiting settings. The clinician will use clinical expertise and extensive specialist knowledge to support families engaged in the program across the MNCLHD and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Minimum Requirements:Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with post graduate qualification in Child and family health nursing and at least 3 years' experience.Demonstrated specialist skills to work closely with families utilising evidence-based models of care and approaches that are supportive and inclusive with an early intervention focus.Demonstrated ability and experience in planning, coordinating and evaluating education programs.Demonstrated expertise in the management of complex clinical issues and the application of evidence-based practice, advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated communication skills and proven ability to implement change across a multidisciplinary team using an evidence-based and a collaborative approach.Demonstrated commitment to maintain currency of practice: experience or commitment to participate/lead clinical research and quality improvement activities.Demonstrated ability to work independently and also to work collaboratively with clients, carers, the multidisciplinary team and services across child development stages (0 to 4 yrs).Current NSW driver's license and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.Need more information?1) Click here for the Position Description2) Find out more about applying for this positionFor role related queries or questions contact Angeline Landry on ****** careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
