Cnc Programmer / Cnc Machinist (Sydney)

The Company Our client is a leading medical device manufacturer based in North Sydney. Due to business expansion, they are now seeking to employ a full-time fully qualified CNC machinist.

The Role The Machinist is a member of the team who carries out allocated tasks as required and completes them within the requested time frame and to the requested quality.

The Candidate Fully Trade Qualified with more than 6 years experience in CAM programming and hands-on experience in setting and operating CNC machines with Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Peek materials. Must have wide experience in machine tool strategy and be competent in setting up complex parts for machining. Essential to have experience in synchronized machining of complex parts.

Essential Criteria Trade Qualified 6 years experience in setting and operating CNC machines Self Motivated & Enthusiastic Team Player Self Starting and able to work with minimal supervision Proficient in English Experience and able to operate these machines: I42U Quicktech 10 axes Mill/Turn machines Hartford 5 axes Machining centres Q10 Quicktech 5 axes Machining centre Goodway SL 20 Sliding head lathe Deco 10 sliding head lathe Aka CNC Grinding machine OGP CMM measuring machines Citizen E20 Lathe Annual Salary: $70,000 - $80,000.

The employer is looking for individuals interested in a challenging position that requires flexibility, responsibility, and self-motivated individuals with good communication skills. Australian citizens or permanent residents preferred. However, the company is an approved TSS (ex 482) Visa Sponsor; TSS Visa Sponsorship (Australian work visa) may be available for a super candidate.
