Join our rapidly growing Defence fabrication team as a full time CNC Machinist / Programmer.
This role will see you programming and operating one of the largest bridge and gantry milling machines in Australia, which has just been commissioned as part of our $25M site upgrade for our defence contracts.
The role is based at our modern facility in Wynyard, Tasmania.

About the Role The role is a hands-on operations role and will report to our Manufacturing Lead.
Key tasks will include:

Relevant Trade or Engineering Qualification (Certificate 3 and above)Significant experience in CNC machining and programmingAn exceptional level of attention to detailAbility to work safelyAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.Ability to work to production schedulesWillingness to contribute to Continuous Improvement initiativesAbout us At Elphinstone, our most important asset is our people.
