CrewSELECT are looking for a Leading Hand CNC Machinist/Programmer for a permanent full-time position with a global mining workshop based in Henderson.
Job Overview: Refurbishment and rebuilding of heavy mining equipment including High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR's) and other machinery.Use of programs and systems including Siemens and Okuma.Use of machines including vertical lathes, shaft lathes, and horizontal floor borers.Leading a crew of 5-8 machinists.What's in it for you: Roster: 4:2 (2 weeks on nightshift then 4 weeks on dayshift)Large and spacious workshop.Working with a globally recognised and respected mining business with genuine career development.We are looking for someone who has: Proven experience using Siemens and Okuma programs.Proven experience working with vertical lathes, shaft lathes, and horizontal floor borers.Ability to interpret and use engineering drawings, measuring equipment & documentation.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can do' attitude.Tickets and Licences:
