We are hiring for a CNC Machinist to work out of our Henderson, WA Offices.
Job scope: As the CNC Machinist with FLS Service Centre, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing and refurbishment process.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet the highest quality standards.
Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, or grinding) to produce precision parts.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
Select and install tooling and fixtures for each job.
Monitor machine operations to detect any deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring tools.
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize processes and meet project deadlines.
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Medium to Heavy Engineering.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or degree in machining is a plus.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation.
Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
