THE POSITION: Role would suit individuals with Certificate III in Manufacturing Engineering, Fitter & Machinist or Toolmaker qualifications who have a level of experience in operating similar machines.
You will assist with day-to-day operations to ensure quality output is met.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Able to complete precision type work as per job requirementsAbility to operate manual and CNC lathes, CNC milling, radial drill and vertical borers machinesConsistently complete work in a timely mannerAccurately fill out job documentation as per QA requirementsDemonstrate personal responsibility in ensuring all safety, quality, and environmental practices and standards are effectively maintained at all timesDemonstrate integrity through consistent behaviours and valuesEffectively interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and machining requirementsSKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Proficient in CNC programming languages and software to create and modify machining programsAbility to set up, operate and monitor CNC machinesExperience using computerised equipmentHorizontal & vertical boraDrilling machine & lathe experienceAbility to work in a team environmentBe driven, passionate and progress drivenUnderstanding of engineering drawings and specificationsON OFFER FOR YOU: Long term stable employmentWork for a family owned businessOvertime availableExcellent work/life balanceIMMEDIATE START IS AVAILABLE.
