Naeco is a high-tech manufacturer based in Brisbane's Bay side suburb of Capalaba.
Naeco specialises in the design and manufacture of cold plates, cooling systems and heat exchangers for some of the most demanding thermal management applications.
Naeco is also a world class supplier of turbo machinery and large cold plates for radar.
Due to further company growth, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC machinist for our milling cells.
About the role
The role will be to work in a team environment and provide support in a range of duties to help the smooth operation of our machining departments:
Setup, prove and run a variety of CNC machines.
Supervise TA's.
Produce and follow workshop documentation.
Help research and prove new tooling, fixturing and machining techniques.
Check work to a very high standard.
General maintenance and housekeeping of production workplace and equipment.
Compliance with ISO accreditation and Naeco's quality procedures.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills who is also:
Fully trade qualified.
Experience in a similar role.
Able to program at the machine.
Able to inspect parts to a high standard against 3D models and 2D drawings.
Experience on 4-axis horizontal machining centres is an advantage.
Experience on 5-axis machining centres is an advantage.
Knowledge of Mastercam is an advantage.
Experience with "one-off" parts to high tolerances.
Proof of rights to work in Australia (Birth Cert, Visa, Citizenship or Passport - Essential).
Salary will be based on experience, with super and overtime.
