Mercedes-Benz Adelaide are seeking a professional, can-do Sales Manager to join our Certified Pre-Owned sales team.
You will manage the sales department by identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales volume and revenue and to ensure consistent profitable growth for the franchise through positive planning and management of the sales team.
What will you be doing
Establish short- and long-term sales targets for sales team Ensure sales consultants follow the sales process in accordance with company procedures Actively prospect and monitor new business opportunities with sales team, new clients and existing clients Monitor market trends and advise the General Manager of changes in competition, product availability or related matters and provide suitable action plans Evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback to sales consultants Regularly review monthly P&L accounts, vehicle stock levels and stock ageing levels and identify areas requiring attention Manage the accurate recording of sales and sales prospecting in the company prospecting system Ensure all advertising, sales promotion material and branch displays are in accordance with agreed programs Regularly review staff levels to ensure they are adequate to meet targets Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently Skills & Experience
Strong leadership ability Demonstrated industry experience preferred, but not essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills High standard of personal presentation Problem solving and analytical skills Commercial acumen Negotiation and marketing skills Hold a current SA driver licence Sound IT skillset How to apply
