Join The Perth Gymnastics Academy as a Club Manager and make a difference in the life of many coaches, athletes and members whilst having fun along the way.
About the Role: The Club Manager will oversee day to day operations of the Club whilst building a competent and motivated team committed to effectively supporting the business needs of the Club and its members.
You'll work closely with the Coaches, Athletes and the Administration Team, helping the Club achieve excellence in compliance, service delivery and member satisfaction.

Competitive Salary: Enjoy a salary that reflects your experience and skills.Professional Development: Opportunities for training and workshops.Vibrant Work Environment: Be part of a vibrant team that values collaboration and creativity whilst providing a supportive family atmosphere.Community Impact: Play a key role in shaping a positive experience for members and the community.Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a work-life balance with flexible hours.Networking Opportunities: Connect with industry professionals and community leaders.Key Responsibilities Include: Operations Management Oversee daily Club operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.Monitor and maintain Club facilities, ensuring cleanliness and safety.Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise Club staff, including rostering and payroll.Lead and inspire your team to deliver excellence in all areas of the Club by coaching, mentoring, recruitment and supporting training and development for high employee engagement.Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and hospitality.Build strong relationships with members and external stakeholders to grow the business and increase membership and foot traffic to the Club.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.Implement and enforce the Club's Policies and Procedures.Analyse financial information (such as cash management, expenditures, and revenues) to ensure that financial operations do not exceed budget limits.Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.Marketing, Communications & Events: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Club membership and events.Plan and coordinate Club events, including social gatherings, tournaments, and special activities.Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills and able to motivate and lead a team.Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to effectively liaise with athletes, coaches and members.Commitment to continuous improvement and development of all programs, staff and members.Commitment to providing exceptional service and ability to handle complaints and resolve issues effectively.Experience in recruitment, rostering, and forecasting.Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, expense management and reporting.Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities.Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly.Proven ability to effectively develop and manage initiatives and projects.Advanced computer skills with intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud, including the use of social media.Experience in organising and managing events.Other Requirements: The right to work in Australia.Current Driver's Licence.Working with Children Card.National Police Clearance.Previous management experience in a Club team.Understanding of the Club or hospitality industry trends and standards.Awareness of health and safety regulations applicable to Club operations.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience to [email protected] (ATTN: PGA Board Secretary) by COB Monday 11 Nov 24.
